we’re getting MARRIED! in December! we already went downtown and picked up our marriage license and a friend of Scott’s will be performing the ceremony – in his mother’s living room! short, sweet, quaint – PERFECT!

I’m ordering my shoes today:

We already have the cake toppers, a fantastic find in the Halloween section at Target – cost us a whole $5!

and a friend is making my dress for me – because you know there is nothing traditional about me and therefore a store-bought gown will just not work! I am SO thrilled that she is able to do it – I can’t wait to go fabric shopping!!!

so, that’s the latest. kind of spur of the moment, but not really when you think that Scott did propose back in 2005 – December actually.
